ASME is pleased to announce its Oil and Gas Pipeline Conference/Exhibition 2017, From April 21st to 22nd 2017 at Hyatt Regency , Mumbai ,India. The 6th International India Oil and Gas Pipeline Conference is designed by ASME Members in India in cooperation with ASME Pipeline Systems Division members globally. This unique, not-for-profit event, designed by engineers for engineers, provides a forum for the transfer of best practices and standards as well as technical transfer between key corporate players in the onshore pipeline industry.Over 2 days industry leaders, engineering professionals and policymakers from across India and internationally will meet to learn the state of the art of their industry, issues and priorities for moving forward. The conference promises to attract a highly distinguished panel of speakers. A networking reception will be held at the end of the 1st day of the conference. The IOGPC technical program will consist of 4 technical tracks and one Panel Discussion on "Challenges in Pipeline Industry". IOGPC is designed to share knowledge and inspire new technologies in the Oil and Gas transmission industry in India and worldwide. All papers will be peer reviewed and published by ASME. Technical Committee of IOGPC 2017 invites authors to submit technical papers per specific topics for publishing by ASME and presenting during conference.

Conference Objectives:

Authors and presenters are invited to participate in this event to expand international cooperation, understanding and promotion of efforts and disciplines in the areas of Pipeline Design and Construction (Onshore/Offshore), Materials for Pipelines Pipeline Integrity Management – Pipeline Operations and Maintenance, HSE and Challenges in the City Gas Distribution (CDG) Industry. Dissemination of knowledge by presenting research results, new developments, and novel concepts in these topics will serve as the foundation upon which the conference program will be developed.

The Pipeline Systems Division actively drives the pipeline industry forward through involvement with conferences, communities, technical knowledge development, and other industry networking events. PSD aids the development of pipeline engineers by supporting young pipeliner groups, local chapter organizations, and industry outreach. PSD is made up of members that care for the industry and are committed to making it safer and more reliable.
