China International (Guangzhou) Fishery & Seafood Expo, the largest seafood show in southern China, will be held on 24-26 August 2018, at China Import &Export (Canton Fair) Complex. China has large production, trade and consumption in aquatic products. Actually, China imported aquatic products 8279.1 thousand tons in 2016. However, Guangdong total aquatic products production was 8740 thousand tons, but consumption was more than 7000 thousand tons. Obviously, Guangdong is the largest aquatic products production base and the most important aquatic products processing trade base in China. With the rapid increasing of global aquatic products consumption, Guangdong has huge aquatic products consumption market and convenient transportation, so it is sure to be a professional, high efficiency, and international fishery platform.

China International (Guangzhou) Fishery&Seafood Expo 2017 has already been held on August 25-27, 2017 at China Import&Export (Canton Fair) Complex successfully. It attracted totally 538 enterprises from 25 countries and 30 domestic cities, 9882 professional visitors from overseas countries and regions,as well as 38118 public visitors. Moreover, the size of Catering Chain, Food and Agricultural Products Expo on the first floor was 70000sqm with 1168 exhibitors and 103800 visitors. Guangzhou Expo total area was 140000sqm with 190000 visitors. Along with exhibitions, there were 5 high-level forums about aquatic products, cold chain logistics held together, which was popular and attractive.
