| ABOUT THE SHOW |
The India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPFT) is South Asia's only pet trade fair and India's largest pet event. IIPTF is an exhibition-cum-trade show dedicated to the pet vertical (dogs, cats, birds, fish, and small animals) in India and is a quality-driven event, at par with international standards. A part B2B (business-to-business), part B2C (business-to-consumer) event, IIPTF showcases an exhaustive range of pet products and pet-pertinent services from across India and overseas.
Compared to the national Book Fair and the Auto Expo by the Times of India, the chief mission of the fair is to give a boost to the revenue of the pet industry by providing members with a platform to congregate and network, thereby generating revenue for themselves and others. It also extends a podium to B2C exhibitors comprising pet retail shop owners, to display and sell their merchandise, and amplify their customer bases.

A fair like IIPTF is especially ideal for those that wish to network with international clients but lack the funds to participate in foreign fairs, as IIPTF offers the business environment of an international fair right here at home.
Foreign exporters are increasingly perceiving India as a viable business option at (or above) par with China. One advantage that India has is the fluency in the English language the majority of business people. This, and other factors including the high quality of Indian products, will soon make India the favoured sourcing hub for the global export industry.
Over the years, IIPTF organizers have been delighted to bring in acclaimed masters of Dogdom from within the country and from foreign shores, who share their expertise in training, grooming, breeding, pet health, etc, with those present – both visitors and exhibitors.
Over the last decade, the pet industry has witnessed remarkable changes in product trends, pet care, domestic policies on pets, as well as, veterinary and pet-related cosmetic products and services, and is confidently marching forward, in terms of strength and revenue generation. With (according to Euromonitor Int'l) Rs 795.3 crore (US$174.22 mn) in its kitty and a 25 percent annual growth, the Indian pet industry holds tremendous potential for its stakeholders— both domestic, as well as international.

Indian Pet Product Manufacturers: There are hundreds more Indian pet product manufacturers than those that exhibit in pet trade fairs abroad. This will therefore be an opportunity to interact with a broad range of manufactures who are interested in exporting their products.
Foreign Manufactures looking for Manufacturing Partners or Distributor in India: There are advantages in setting up joint venture manufacturing enterprises using foreign technology and Indian partners. Foreign manufactures will find many potential matches at the trade fair. Many Indian trade visitors to IIPTF will be attending with the objective to source foreign manufacturers who wish to launch their products in the massive Indian market.
Indian Distributors: Some Indian distributors will be exhibiting. Therefore, foreign manufacturers wishing to find distributors for their products will find many of India's finest under one roof. |

Yes, we are allowing B2C activities at the fair. These stalls will draw consumers of the Indian middleclass and provide foreign buyers and manufacturers with an opportunity to assess the size and enthusiasm of the growing Indian pet lover market. Several Indian manufacturers who had previously only be creating products to export to developed countries were impressed by the number of queries from Indian consumers as to where they could obtain such products. As a result, some are already in the process of setting up manufacturing units to address domestic demand. B2C exhibitors will include:
