Event Profile |
Pakistan and India are the two most populous and largest economies in the South Asian region. Owing to the numerous trade restrictions between India and Pakistan, the current trade of $2.35 billion between the two countries is far less than the potential of around $15-20 billion. If healthy trade relations are built up between India and Pakistan - the potential is immense - it can integrate the lives of millions of people in both countries. Trade can serve as a powerful tool for conflict resolution between India and Pakistan. Trade normalization would benefit producers and consumers in both the countries. PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) in close association with High Commission of India, Islamabad, Pakistan and with the support of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India is
organizing India Trade Expo 2016, Islamabad, Pakistan.
