Grain Tech Expo focuses on Wheat, Rice, Grains, Pulse, Spices, Feed, Pasta, Flour Milling Machinery, Processing Machinery, Cleaning, Grading, Sorting Machinery, Packaging, Storage, Silo, Warehousing, Material Handling and Allied Industries. Being held in Hyderabad, the capital of the agriculture abundant state of Telangana and one of the largest Metro cities in India, this exhibition will be a big come back platform for the Industry after the Covid19 epidemic. India primarily has a very big role in the agriculture sector in the world and stands to be the world’s largest producer of millets while it is the second largest producer of wheat, rice and pulses. The continuous growing population of the country and the rate of rapid urbanization has increased the need for availability of these grains and rice in packed and processed form in more and more quantity.It is estimated that there can be an increase of total grain demand exceeding 300 million tonnes in the coming few years. India stands 2nd in production, consumption and export of spices, production of food grains, fruits and vegetables.The Government of India has opened the doors for international investment in India with Nivesh Bandhu, an investor facilitation portal to assist investorsA Special fund of USD 285 Mn has been set aside for assistance through NABARD. 253 designated food parks being set up in different states with assistance from NABARD
