UBM India ventures to add yet another jewel in its cap. UBM marches its vision towards the Capital of India – New Delhi to launch "Delhi Jewellery & Gem fair" (DJGF). With its two existing shows in South and one show in the west, DJGF will caterer to the needs of entire north and north east market.
The "Delhi Jewellery & Gem fair" like UBM's other shows in India will be a pure B2B show to fill the vacuum in North India, much to the persuasion of the market that wanted UBM to make its move, Up North. The show will be for two days scheduled 8th- 9th September 2011 at the Pragaiti Maidan, New Delhi. The show will be extensively promoted through a huge visitor promotion campaign to reach out to the important markets like New Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and its adjoining tier 2 and 3 cities. Meetings with jewellery trade associations, shop-to-shop visits with retailers, press conference etc. will be some of the prime modes to inform the Gem and jewellery Industry and spread awareness about the new launch and attract the retailers to the show.
With 400 plus participants and 25000 plus buyers and sellers attending its three shows last year mainly, Gems and Jewellery India International Exhibition (GJIIE), Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl & Gem Fair (HJF) and its recently launched Mumbai Jewellery & Gem fair (MJGF), DJGF will further add new prospects to the business for the Gem & Jewellery Industry – The UBM way. UBM's principle event in Hong Kong, the world's largest jewellery event – the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair that saw 3,450 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions, greeting a total of 51,500 trade professionals from 155 countries and regions will surely be a strong base to help and ensure DJGF is successful from its launch edition itself.
