Welcome to China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair)
China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) started in 1957 in two sessions- spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. The first two sessions of the show gathered 1223 and 1923 buyers from 19 and 33 countries, respectively. China Foreign Trade Centre organizes this international trading event along with the co-hosts- The Ministry of Commerce of PRC and the People's Government of Guangdong Province. Canton Fair has a longest history, comprehensive variety of exhibits, largest scale, largest buyer attendance and greatest business turnover in China. The trade event focuses on enhancing trade connection between China and globally. Chinese enterprises find this event great to explore the global market. The foreign trade of China is promoted by this platform. The 2019 year witnessed the participation of nearly 26,000 exhibitors, 200,000 buyers from more than 210 countries and regions at an exhibition area of around 1.185 million ㎡.
The 127th and the 128th Canton Fair in 2020 were held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The central government and the State Council together made this decision to prevent and control pandemic. The online platform enabled the Chinese and international exhibitors to digitally display products and negotiate online with the buyers from 226 countries and regions. The virtual Canton Fair was a success and laid a foundation for online offline integrated development. As the years will pass, the Canton Fair’s digitalization, specialization, market orientation, and international development will improve.
The 129th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is scheduled from 15th April to 24th April, 2021. China Foreign Trade Centre is organizing and Ministry of Commerce, P.R.C. and GD Provincial Gov. are co-hosting the show that features more than 26,000 domestic and overseas exhibitors of Consumer Goods; Gifts; Home Decorations; Textiles & Garments; Shoes and much more to overseas buyers from over 226 countries and regions.
