About the Show

India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), a Govt. of India Enterprise and Tamil Nadu Trade Promotion Organisation (TNTPO) are jointly organizing 7th Regional Edition of Aahar - The International Food Fair 2012, Chennai from August 23 - 25, 2012 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai.

The Aahar International seeks to offer a platform for facilitating growth and modernization in the processed food and hospitality sectors. Its aim is therefore clearly in consonance with Government's efforts and objectives to promote these vital areas of the national economy. Significantly, the fair has evolved into an ideal forum for initiation of joint venture agreements and technology transfer processes that assure considerable returns.

Like its earlier editions, the 'AAHAR THE INTERNATIONAL FOOD FAIR 2012, CHENNAI' will provide an excellent platform for Food Products, Food Processing & Packaging Sector, Refrigeration Sector, related technologies & service providers and Government Departments to display and discuss their latest innovations in the food sector.

The Fair is being organized with the support of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and Co-Associated by Resource companies for the Hospitality Industry (ARCHI), New Delhi, Hotel and Restaurant Equipment Manufacturers Association of India (HOTREMAI), Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA), Chennai, South Indian Hotel & Restaurant Association (SIHRA), Chennai.
